in einem seiner Werke aus der HoME Reihe, ich glaube in "the lost Road" erwähnt Tolkien einen "Prophet" unter denm wilden Menschen, ich meine es ging um die Völker von Enedhwaith und ihren Aufstand gegen die Numenorer...

erinnert sich jemand von euch evtl. an seinen NMEN oder kann mir diese Textstelle nennen? Ich finde die Passage partout nicht wieder...

Der einzige Prophet in der HoMe 5 ist meines Wissens Galdor. Zumindest ist er der einzige, der explizit mit dem Begriff "prohpet" bezeichnet wird. Auf Seite 79 steht:

Galdor is a good man [?among] the exiles (not a Numenorean) - not a long-liver but a prophet. He prophesies [?coming] of Numenoreans and [?salvation] of men. Hence holds his men by sea. This foreboding passage heralds the Ruin and the Flood. How he escapes in the flood..... of land. The Numenoreans come - but appear no longer as good but as rebels against the Gods. They slay Galdor and take the chieftainship.
