Ich habe eine Frage... eine Freundin von mir schrieb ein Zitat in ein Buch von mir. Es soll von Tolkien sein, aber ich fand es nur in Verbindung mit meiner Lieblingsserie ,Doctor Who`. Es lautet:

" Every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don´t always soften the bad things, but vice versa the bad things don´t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant." J.R.R. Tolkien

Meine Frage ist, ob das wirklich von Tolkien ist, oder ob mich meine Freundin nur auf den Arm genommen hat.

I have a question... one friend of mine wrote a quotation in one of my books. She said it is from Tolkien but I only found it in combination with my favourite series ,Doctor Who´. It says:

Actually my question is, if it is really from Tolkien or if my friend was just kidding to me.

Also ganz spontan und ohne Garantie muss ich sagen, dass mir dieses Zitat völlig unbekannt in Bezug auf Tolkien ist. Ich bin mir recht sicher, dass es nicht von Tolkien stammt.

Ich glaube dieses Zitzat ist aus "Doktor Who". Da bin ich mir sogar ziemlich sicher.
