Eine 9-stündige Oper des Silmarillion von Paul Corfield Godfrey ist letztes Jahr fertiggestellt worden und wird mit Genehmigung des Tolkien Estates vertrieben. Allerdings gibt es Aufnahmen "leider" nur zu kaufen und sie stehen nicht bei Streaminganbietern wie Spotify im Programm. Für die Interessierten ist unten der Trailer zu finden und hier die Website des Komponisten mit zusätzlichen Infos.
